Bio

My vision was poor when I was young, and I developed a good relationship with my ophthalmologist. With an interest in my own vision and the encouragement of my ophthalmologist, I pursued my passion for learning about the eyes and how to keep them healthy by becoming an ophthalmologist myself. Today, I’m grateful for my vision and honored to help others with theirs.

I provide the full range of vision care, from regular checkups to treating eye pain, injuries and diseases that affect vision. Our office sees urgent eye issues, such as sudden vision loss, on a same-day basis.

I received my medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif., and completed my ophthalmology residency at the Wilford Hall Medical Center/Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. I grew up in Bend and moved to Portland to attend Lewis and Clark College, and I’ve enjoyed this city and all it has to offer.

Outside of the office, I’m very focused on my family. We especially enjoy hiking and visiting state parks together.
