Physical Therapy
I became a physical therapist for several reasons: I love being active, I enjoy helping people, and I’m genuinely fascinated by the way the human body works. Interacting with patients one-on-one to help them discover their own resilience and improve the quality of their lives is very rewarding work.
I believe that good health looks a bit different for everyone and can change with the seasons of our lives. Practicing self-care, engaging in movement that makes you feel good, eating well, sleeping well and nurturing meaningful relationships are all paramount to well-being.
I earned my master’s degree in physical therapy at Oregon State University, and I joined The Portland Clinic in 2013. The emphasis on patient-centered care and the collaboration and communication among providers make The Portland Clinic a truly enjoyable community to be a part of.
My husband and I were both born and raised in Portland and feel lucky to have our families nearby. We love the changing of the seasons and the access to mountains, beaches and high desert, all within driving distance. Our two children keep me busy, but incredibly fulfilled in my time away from the clinic. For my own health and well-being, I enjoy running, playing futsal and snowboarding.
