Occupational Therapy - Physical Therapy
Since earning my occupational therapy degree from the University of South Alabama, I have had a diverse career with a background in neurologic and orthopedic conditions. I believe this provides a unique and well-rounded perspective. I received my certification in hand therapy in 2015 while working at Kaiser Permanente and Oregon Health & Science University, and developed the concussion program for Kaiser Northwest.
In 2017, I moved to Nashville, TN, to be closer to my family. During my time at the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Institute, I treated hand and upper extremity trauma and developed the concussion program in the orthopedics department. I participated in research regarding the optimal timing of post-concussion rehab while treating the associated vestibular and oculomotor dysfunction.
Although I enjoyed my time in Nashville, I was homesick for Portland and missed my friends and the beautiful outdoors, so I loaded up the moving truck once again and came back. I’m excited to get back to hiking, kayaking, camping and running in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I’m equally excited to work with a diverse and talented team at The Portland Clinic.
