Otolaryngology (ENT)
I provide medical and surgical care for ailments of the ear, nose, throat and neck, with a special clinical focus on salivary and endocrine gland (thyroid and parathyroid) disorders. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages.
Because head and neck problems often reflect concerns stemming from elsewhere, I try to take a holistic approach to medical issues. I take pride in making myself available to patients, and my goal is to address their questions and concerns as fully as possible at each visit. I encourage patients to communicate with me through MyChart, where they can review their results and actively participate in their treatment plan.
I am board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Originally from Washington, D.C, I graduated cum laude from Princeton University, then earned my medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. I completed my residency training in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in 2009 and joined The Portland Clinic the same year. Two things I appreciate most about the clinic are our wide array of well-connected medical providers, which ensures that we can treat a variety of ailments, and our intermediate size, which fosters a comfortable, personal patient experience.
Outside of my practice, I try to make time for adventure travel, which satisfies my curiosity for exploring new cultures, climates, foods, activities and hobbies. Locally, I enjoy riding my bike (often to work), skiing, hiking and exploring our city’s blossoming culinary scene.
