My experience as a medic in the United States Army National Guard, right after high school, helped me discover how fulfilling it is to care for other people. That’s when I decided to pursue a career in medicine. My interest in focusing on women’s health care became clear after the birth of my two daughters, while I was completing my undergraduate studies.

Providing patient-centered and evidence-based care is important to me. I understand the diverse needs of women, and my goal is to provide individualized care where women feel heard and valued. I have a deep-rooted passion for empowering and supporting women in becoming their healthiest selves.

I consider it a privilege to care for women in all stages of life. My areas of specialty include abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, menopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome and vulvar disease. I also enjoy helping women to lose weight with medication.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Penn., I completed both my undergraduate studies and my medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh. I moved to Portland after finishing my residency.

In my time off, I enjoy being outdoors with my husband, our daughters and our dog. You can often find me dipping my toes into the Columbia or Willamette River, or exploring new restaurants with friends. My family and I also enjoy picking fresh fruit in Hood River.
