Not accepting new patients at this time.
I was always sure that I wanted to work in medicine, so I started studying nursing right out of high school. After earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Walla Walla College, I went on to Oregon Health and Science University, where I earned a master’s degree in pediatric acute care nursing (PNP) and then completed the highest level of nursing education, a doctorate degree in nursing practice (DNP). To expand my training further, I earned an additional post-doctorate certification as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) from Maryville University.
I have worked with pediatric, adolescent and young-adult patients for many years, in multiple settings, and am excited to incorporate all ages and the entire family into my practice at The Portland Clinic.
Patient-centered care and shared decision-making are the core of my practice. For me, that means establishing caring relationships, listening actively, advocating for patients’ needs, and inspiring people to be the best they can be.
I have lived in the beautiful Northwest for most of my life. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my four young-adult children and my Australian labradoodle. I love kayaking, scuba diving, scrapbooking, and traveling – especially with medical mission groups.

I understand schedules can change, but waiting more than 15 minutes on zoom is too long. I do appreciate her assistant calling 6 minutes after the schedule appointment to let me know there was a delay.
