As a primary care doctor, I work hard to be a good first contact for patients when they seek health care, and to coordinate specialty care and follow-up whenever necessary. Being an athlete myself, I love working with active people to keep them active. I also enjoy helping to prevent and identify common health conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease and lung disease, and the associated health issues that go along with them. I appreciate The Portland Clinic’s multispecialty culture and enjoy interacting with its many doctors to provide the best possible patient experience.
I earned my medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University and completed my residency in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. I am affiliated with the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
Outside of the office, I am very active. I have always been a competitive athlete, and I’m having a great time watching my children get a taste of similar activities. I play soccer and love following the Timbers. What keeps me in Oregon is my love of the outdoors and the activities that living here affords, including hiking, backpacking, kayaking, climbing and trail running.
Dr. Crouse has been named a Top Doctor by Portland Monthly magazine multiple times.
