Physical Therapy
Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I enjoyed playing many sports, which ultimately led me to choose physical therapy as a career. As my practice has progressed, I have grown to love treating geriatric patients. I learn so much from them! My perfect day might range from helping a teenager with a sports injury to working with a geriatric patient on strength and balance.
I am board certified and hold a master’s degree in physical therapy from California State University, Long Beach. Since 2002, I have practiced in a variety of outpatient settings in San Francisco, New York City and Portland. I view myself as my patient’s coach through the rehabilitation process, and I believe in patient-centered care — my patient’s goals become my goals. No matter what brings my patients in, I want them to feel heard.
I moved to Portland in 2014 with my family. I appreciate the seasons and the opportunities that my son has to thrive here. Outside of work, I love watching sports, coaching my son’s baseball team, and hanging out with my wife and two dogs. I enjoy a night out for good food and drinks as well as a cozy night at home with a fire and a movie.
